COVID-19 Update
April 4, 2020
We are sorry to say that due to the current COVID19 situation and the Stay at Home Order from Governor DeWine and Dr. Amy Acton, we have cancelled the 2020 inspiHER Girls Leadership Retreat.
As always, it is our priority and responsibility to ensure the safety of our participants, their families, and the entire inspiHER team when planning events.
Due to the fluidity of the COVID-19 situation, we feel it is difficult at this time to set a new date in 2020. Therefore, we will be reimbursing all 129 girls that have already registered for spring retreat. Participants will be receiving an email from Eventbrite with refund information. Please allow us a few days to work through the process of issuing reimbursements. We will follow up with each of you by email.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone that has encouraged us and supported us this year as we were gearing up for our inaugural event. The community support has been truly inspiring to say the least!
Thank you to all of our 2020 sponsors for taking a leap of faith, believing in our vision and mission, and supporting inspiHER. Due to your ongoing support, we will continue our work and begin to shift gears to plan a retreat for 2021!

We inspiHER!
September 19, 2019
Summer has been a busy time for us at inspiHER! Since our Vision Launch in June 2019, we have been working diligently on plans for our April 17-18, 2020, inspiHER Girls Retreat here in Fairfield County.
Here is a quick recap of just a few projects we have been working on at inspiHER:
We have welcomed SIX community sponsors to the inspiHER team in just our first three months: Fairfield National Bank, Krile Communications, Clark Insurance, Jill Allen Coaching, Kelly Abbot & the A Team, and Gentle Dental Care
We have been collaborating with our research team at Ohio University Lancaster in the development of a survey tool to best study the attitudes, behaviors, and characteristics of our targeted population here in Fairfield County.
As part of our preparation to begin conducting local research later this year, in collaboration with Ohio University Lancaster, several inspiHER team members have recently become certified through the CITI Program in a course entitled Human Research: Social and Behavioral Investigators and Key Personnel.
Committee members have been working to develop the guidelines, application process, and training handbook for our new inspiHER Mentorship Program. This program will recruit high school seniors from Fairfield County to become mentors for our 2-day leadership retreat in April. Check back for details in November!
We are currently working on a video series consisting of 60-second informational clips to share the vision and mission of inspiHER, including details regarding the upcoming April 2020 retreat.
Conversations have begun with other counties in Ohio to bring inspiHER to their communities as well. People are getting inspiHERed!
Coming in November, we will launch our first official Fundraising Campaign. We will ask for monetary donations to honor a woman that has inspired you! Check back for details in November!
That is just a few of the many initiatives underway at inspiHER! We plan to keep you updated along the way as we gear up for 2020!
If you are interested in learning more, getting involved, or even making a donation to support inspiHER, follow us on Facebook @inspiHERfoundtion or instagram @inspiHERtoLead. We would love your support!
